Silver Aluminum Collection Care Instructions
Each piece is sand cast and highly polished giving shapes a sensuous quality and unique luster. Extremely friendly in use, the metal does not chip, peel, crack, or break, and it will not tarnish unless exposed to chemical detergents or acids for extended periods of time. It is food safe, durable, and easy to maintain. Since all pieces are handmade, imperfections on the highly polished surface are a familiar characteristic.

• First thoroughly wash your piece with mild dish soap and water, and towel dry.
• Do not use abrasives or clean in automatic dishwashers as that will affect its luster.
• As with any metal, items will scratch if not handled properly.
• Food should be removed soon after serving. As with any metal, leaving food for extended periods may result in discoloration – especially highly acidic or salty foods such as salad dressings, vinegars, tomatoes, or other fruits.
• If using containers for fresh flowers, coat the inside of the piece with heavy household shortening to protect the surface from chemicals in the soil and water.
• Oven safe up to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Note: these items are engravable. We don't offer engraving as a service, but we have many customers who have ordered frames, platters, etc., and had them engraved for special occasions. It makes a great gift option.
